The first 10 to 15 levels you should just not bother repairing your stuff (unless it's a really good bow for your level) because there is a +5 or -5 chance that you'll make a better or worse thing. which is the best(?) way to get continious stamina so you can out run zombies for an hour or two. as you'll eventually drown in glass jars as well.Īlso corn mash is used to make grain alcohol. I have an entire chest full of glass jars with various things like coffee, golden rod tea and plain bottled water.ĭon't think of the basic meals like boiled eggs or corn bread as a waste. espically when you get a forge and make bottle mold. they add hydration when you eat them as well as remove hunger so they can be a handy backup meal when you find your self drowning in glass bottles. Vitamins are also 0.4 each but you can take as many as you want at a time.Īs said above boiled eggs are ok as well. Golden rod tea is my drink of choice as it adds wellness and energy.Īlso try raiding a poppin pills store and take the vitamins from there. Corn bread is tasty and healty! it's 0.4 wellness or so and you can eat a bunch of them before you stop being hungry. make a bunch of corn meal and then cook with bottled water. Not entirely sure how accurate it is, but it's probably ok:įind some corn and plant lots of it. But I'm one of thoses 'every little bit helps' kind of people.) It's not worth doing to generate wellness. I lose 0.1 Wellness and gain 0.2 Wellness. When it wears off I drink a golden rod tea. But, to be honest, that's more a travel thing than a wellness thing. (The hit from coffee is very small and it can be used to provoke thirst so you can drink golden rod tea which has a higher upside than the coffee has a downside. Canned and the rest of the cooked food are also good, except coffee. The various animal stews are the best food items and you can cook these.ģ. Antibiotics and Vitamins are very helpful.Ģ. What's the fastest / best way to increase wellness aswell as exp? :)Īvoid the three biggest wellness killers:ġ. So at level 1 you have the ability to craft a level 60 item, -50 will always net you the lowest positive number related to your current level or abouts you'll never make a negative numbered item.īefore I raid a small town I make sure I am carrying at least 150 arrows cause you'll surely use them all when all is said and done, hopefully, before nightfall. The formula for creating leveled items is (player level x 10) ,+ or -, 50. Your weapons at that level should be adequate enough to clear out the inhabitants of said town (one by one) w/o going through too many arrows. The main thing here is mass quantities of crafted stuff will push you to level 10 in no time at all and at that level you can raid a good sized town, safely and quickly. Plus, every opportunity I get a surplus of logs, I make wood frames in mass quantities, you'll always have a need for them and they can save your hide in an emergency, like climbing clff walls to escape an in-comming horde when they, suddenly, appear. Once you raid a town use your axe to harvest every window curtain and use the material in making stacks of clothing just like the above mentioned process for tools and primitive weapons, only dont discard the lot those you can re-scrap keep the best one and toss the rest away from the area you're harvesting or they'll always crawl back into your inventory every time you hit the "E" key). One trick that I've found to get xp quickly (at the early levels) is to keep gathering stones, sticks, wood and make 5-10 stone axes, bows and stone shovels every other level I advance. Usually, for me, 4-5 capsules taken once daily with a steaming, or, room temp cup of goldenrod tea maxes me to 200 wellness in 4-5 days, provided, of course, if you are lucky enough to find the capsules or the ingredients to make them as well. 1 Antibiotic capsule lasts for 24 hours in-game time and about every hour you'll advance up the wellness scale, goldenrod tea does a nice job of pushing it higher too.
